Nestled in what once was the British Concession, this quaint lane house is located in a quiet lane off of the tree-lined Yuyuan Rd, a few blocks from Zhongshan Park. The neighborhood has retained its old Shanghai charm, and you can experience the authentic Shanghai life as you stroll down the streets and lanes.
The house has been tastefully restored with french-style accents. As you enter the front gate, you'll see a tiny garden with lots of greenery and a lovely wall fountain. There's also a patio/porch that looks out to the garden where you can relax. The porch is connected to the living room, which leads to an open dining area and the kitchen. There's another small patio space on the top floor for you to enjoy some evening breeze.
There are two spacious suites on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Both have queen-size beds, look-out balcony, and luxurious bathrooms with both shower room and bathtubs. The 3rd floor suite also has a sofa bed, which can sleep a third person. If you need to do some work, there's a small office/study to use on the 1 1/2 floor. Other features include AC/heating in all the rooms, floor heating on the ground floor, western kitchen, original wood flooring on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and old shanghai lane house tiles. This is a perfect vacation house for a couple, a family, or a group of friends.

Whole House: 1600RMB/night, minimum 3 nights
Individual suite: 800RMB/night, minimum 3 nights
Rates includes utilities, linens, and maid cleaning service twice a week. Complimentary welcome fruits are provided. Bikes and grocery shopping service is available upon request. Rates are negotiable for longer stays.
